Alpha Kappa Alpha SORORITY!!!!!!?

OK so I really want to become an AKA, the problem is Im shy, and over the years i lost myself in a way, meaning I gained some weight and dont have many clothes to choose from to get all dressed up to get noticed, but I have been wanting to join this sorority for years! Any tips of suggestions anyone that will benefit me? Also what are the requirements? And is 23 too old?? Also I have a child...does that exclude me?
