I plan on rushing to be a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha (AKA) but there is some problems?

I work with a girl who is a member I always been nice to her, but she doesn't even say hi to greet me in the mornings. she is a total b**** then I have another one who is my hall director and she gives me dirty looks FOR NO REASON!! I'm a nice person I greet everyone. Should I stop being nice to them because they are being stuck up? my aunt and cousins are members of alpha kappa alpha but I want too be one too but the ones on my campus are so snobby. I want to be nice but I don't wanna kiss anyones butt either what should I do? Then the other one I work with looks at me crazy!! I really want to join but they don't seem to friendly
