What is a presidential schoolar?

Recently i requested my transcript for transferring to a university. I noticed that under "extras" along with "Phi Theta Kappa member" it says Presidential schoolar... I don't know what it means, i don't remember applying for that is it good or not? I'm a comunity college student with a 3.91 GPA, I went to high school in Peru and im currently planning to take spring classes (2012) at a university... anyways, any idea what does that Presidential schoolar mean?
